I will tell the Attorney General to write on a slip that he can become president in uniform: Barrister Salman Akram Raja

You say that I will contest the presidential election, and that I will contest it in uniform. But the Constitution of Pakistan does not allow this. General Musharraf once said, “What is this Constitution of Pakistan? It is just a piece of paper.” I will tell the Attorney General to bring a slip of paper stating that I can become president in uniform, and then that slip would become part of the Constitution. So, the same Musharraf mindset still exists today. We did not allow it to succeed then, and we will not allow it to succeed today either. We, the lawyers, will put up strong resistance.
