A giant flower basket has been installed at Tiananmen Square in Beijing as part of preparations for China’s National Day celebrations. According to China’s Xinhua News Agency, Tiananmen Square and surrounding areas are being decorated with flowers during the National Day holiday period, while 10 three-dimensional flower beds will also be installed along Chang’an Avenue to further enhance the festive atmosphere.
According to the report, flower garlands have also been arranged in the green spaces on both sides of Tiananmen Square, while flowers will be planted across an area of more than 7,000 square meters along Chang’an Avenue. On September 25, large numbers of tourists, including foreign visitors, arrived at Tiananmen Square to see the giant flower basket installed there and took photographs with the floral display.
