Former White House Press Secretary and
close ally of President Donald Trump, Karoline Leavitt, is embarking on a new
career on television. American broadcaster Fox News has announced that
Leavitt, who previously served as the White House press secretary and is a
close associate of President Trump, is joining its network to provide analysis
and commentary on television. According to a statement issued by Fox News Media
CEO Suzanne Scott, Leavitt will begin appearing on Fox News on November 1.
Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott praised the former
White House spokesperson for her “deep understanding” of the current political
landscape. Meanwhile, Leavitt said she
looked forward to sharing with viewers the unique insights she had gained through
her experience as White House press secretary. She added that she intended to
maintain the same energy and forthright style that had characterized her tenure
in the role. It is worth noting that Leavitt resigned from her position as
White House press secretary in late August this year, following the birth of
her second child.
