Pakistan’s Trade Deficit with Saudi Arabia Falls to $471 Million

Encouraging figures have emerged regarding bilateral trade between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. According to the data, Pakistan’s trade deficit with Saudi Arabia declined significantly by 18.37 percent during the first two months of the current fiscal year, falling to $471 million, compared with $577 million during the same period last year.

According to official sources, during the first two months of the current fiscal year, July and August 2026, Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia amounted to $98 million, compared with $102 million during the same period last year. This represents a modest decline of 3.92 percent in Pakistani exports to Saudi Arabia over the two-month period. However, the main reason for the significant reduction in the trade deficit is being attributed to a substantial decline in Pakistan’s imports from Saudi Arabia.
